Manual Workarounds

This section highlights known limitations of the Android and iOS platforms that may affect the functionality of the MyPhones Agent and Admin apps. These are not bugs, but rather expected behaviors resulting from system-level restrictions, security policies, or manual configurations that are required.

Where possible, we provide manual workarounds or configuration steps that users can follow to ensure optimal performance.

These are platform-imposed behaviors and not specific to MyPhones. Proper configuration and user awareness are essential for smooth operation.

1. "Admin app" is waiting for CH Play & Appstore

Affected Platform: Android/iOS Issue: The team is following up on pending requests from Google and Apple that require approval. It takes time. Workaround:

• Adjust some policy

• Adjust some images to follow their rules.

2. Remote uninstall

Affected Platform: Android Issue: With cPanel, a user can remotely force the uninstallation. Workaround:

• Add a device settings page with a button "Remote uninstall".
