❓ I found the MyPhones app on my device. What should I do?
If you discovered the MyPhones app installed on your phone and you're unsure why it's there, here are your options:
✅ 1. Check with the device owner or administrator
MyPhones is designed to be used:
On devices owned by parents, guardians, or employers
With full knowledge and consent of the monitored user
Please contact the person who manages or owns your device to clarify its purpose.
✅ 2. Review the app permissions
Go to:
Settings → Apps → MyPhones → Permissions
This lets you see what data the app is accessing (e.g., location, SMS, microphone).
✅ 3. Uninstall the app (if allowed)
If the app was installed without your consent or you believe it violates your privacy:
Try uninstalling it via your device’s app settings
If it is protected as a device admin or hidden, go to:
Settings → Security → Device Admin Apps and deactivate it first.
