How to Install MyPhones.app (for Devices You Own)
📱 MyPhones.app is designed for monitoring and managing your own Android devices — such as your child’s phone, a spare phone, or your second device — with full consent and legal compliance.
🔹 Step 1: Check Your Android Version
Ensure your device is running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later. Older versions may not be fully supported.
Go to Settings → About phone → Android version.
🔹 Step 2: Enable "Install Unknown Apps"
Since this app is not published on Google Play, you'll need to allow installation from outside sources:
Open Settings.
Go to Security or Apps & notifications.
Tap "Install unknown apps" (sometimes under "Advanced").
Select your browser (e.g., Chrome) or File Manager.
Enable Allow from this source.
🔹 Step 3: Download the APK
Visit: 👉 https://get.myphones.app
Tap Download APK.
Confirm if prompted.
🔹 Step 4: Install the APK
Once downloaded:
Open the APK file.
Tap Install.
Wait for installation to complete.
Tap Open.
🔹 Step 5: Grant Required Permissions
After launching the app, it will ask for essential permissions such as:
Location – to track the GPS
Contacts, SMS, and Call Logs – for device activity insights
Battery Optimization Exclusion – to run in the background
👉 Please grant all permissions to ensure full functionality.
🔹 Step 6: Sign In and Link Your Device
Sign in with your https://cpanel.MyPhones.app account (or create one), or you can create one at the MyPhones agent app.
The device will be added to your account after you consent to the terms of use, the device, and the purpose of installation.
Give the device a name (e.g., John’s Phone).
